Course description

This course is for RNs who care for adult patients undergoing cardiac monitoring. This course is a hybrid course and has two parts. Part 1 consists of a self-paced online module. The module covers measuring and interpreting common cardiac rhythms, including: sinus rhythms, atrial rhythms, junctional rhythms, ventricular rhythms, cardiac conduction blocks and pacemaker rhythms. Attendees will practice the measuring and interpretation of rhythms. Clinical assessment and nursing management will be reviewed for common dysrhythmias. Part 2 consists of an in-person exam,  a score of ≥83% must be achieved to pass (complete the class and earn CEs). The dates listed above are the various available test dates. The date that you register for the course is the date of your exit exam. Part 1 and Part 2 of this course will take a total of 8 hours to complete.
