Arsenia’s Story

Arsenia Harrison has retained her mobility with the help of an innovative study that uses the body’s own stem cells to help regenerate blocked blood vessels in the legs.

Stem cells got me back on my feet

Meet Arsenia Harrison, a woman with boundless positivity.

When severe peripheral artery disease led to leg pain and the threat of amputation, Arsenia turned to UC Davis Vascular Center for help.

After participating in a clinical trial to study the ability of the body's own stem cells to regenerate blood vessels, she's on her feet, playing with her grandchildren and living life to the fullest.
