Empowering patients to achieve their optimal health status though affirming and inclusive person-centered healthcare practices as an accessible egalitarian partner in their care. Collaboratively working with patients and other providers to optimize medication use, overcome medication access barriers and ameliorate healthcare disparities.

Bio:
Dr. Garber began his pharmacy practice career at UC Davis Health Medical Center in 2022 following completion of a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency in Ambulatory Care with a sub-emphasis in HIV. He currently works as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacist within several specialty areas at UC Davis Health including infectious diseases and immunology.

During his pharmacy practice training in both his doctoral and post-doctoral studies, Dr. Garber has predominantly practiced within specialty pharmacy in both community pharmacy and ambulatory care roles at both academic medical center and federally qualified health center (FQHC) settings. In addition to his clinical practice role, he is involved in pharmacy precepting and is a recipient of the UCSF Apple teaching award for precepting in 2022.

Dr. Garber also possesses a strong interest LGBTQIA+ affirming healthcare, including health equity, and serves as a member of the UC Davis Vice Chancellor LGBTQ+ Advisory Council.
