New Faculty Joins the Department of Radiation Oncology

Andrew Wong, M.D.

Please join us in welcoming Andrew Wong, M.D. to the Department of Radiation Oncology. He joined our team on September 5, 2023 as a Health Sciences Assistant Clinical Professor. His expertise includes gynecological oncology.

“I am pleased to announce that Andrew Wong has accepted the faculty physician position,” said Richard Valicenti, chair of the Department of Radiation Oncology. “I would like to extend my deep gratitude and acknowledgement to the search committee for the exceptional job in recruiting him.”

Andrew Wong completed his medical education and training at UT San Antonio School of Medicine, his residency in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, and his brachytherapy fellowship at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.

We welcome him into the UC Davis Health community.
