Philosophy of Care
I believe in compassionate and personalized care for all people in an open-minded setting. I strive to create an environment of trust where my patients feel comfortable, respected, and free to ask questions and voice their concerns.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Hauser is an infectious disease physician offering care for adult patients with a variety of infectious disease conditions. She has special clinical interest in HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, tick-borne infections and infections acquired through environmental exposures, and infection prevention and hospital epidemiology.
She is also interested in infections as they relate to climate change and issues surrounding environmental justice and health equity.
Research/Academic Interests
Dr. Hauser's research interests include human infections as they relate to climate change and extreme weather events, including potential infectious complications of wildfire smoke exposure.
