  1. Scroll down to Registration, click the "Register" link. This will take you to UC Learning Center where you can register for the class.
  2. Call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit information to confirm your seat in the class.

Course description

This course is designed for RNs and patient care providers who care for patients who have 12 lead ECG as part of their diagnostic data. Principles of electrocardiography, electrical axis, infarct patterns, chamber hypertrophy, differentiating tachycardias and proper lead placements will be presented. Implications for patient care will be discussed. Multiple 12 lead ECG tracings will be used for practice.

Prerequisite

Must have attended an ECG Interpretation course.

C.E. contact hours

Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, provider number CEP 26, for 3.58 contact hours.

Attendees will not receive C.E. credit if they are more than 5 minutes late; no partial credit can be awarded.

Registration

UC Davis Health employees

$25 registration deposit. Registration deposit is returned upon completion of class. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive deposit refund. Please register through UC Learning Center and call our office at 916-734-9790 with your deposit by credit card.

Registrations are approved only after your deposit is provided.

Community registrants

$60 registration fee. Cancellation must be requested five days prior to class date to receive a full refund. A $25 service fee will be charged after this date.

Parking

Parking is available in parking structure 4, lots 12, 17, 18, Broadway or EDD with either a B permit or daily permit. Daily permits are available for purchase with the ParkMobile app using zone number 42201. Please visit Parking and Transportation Services for more information.
