ARC-MD is a five-year research pathway program available to UC Davis medical students. In addition to the traditional MD curriculum that provides excellent clinical training at UC Davis, ARC-MD students have an enhanced curriculum aimed at honing research skills with an additional research-intensive year between their 3rd and 4th years of medical school. The ARC-MD curriculum in Years 1-3 provides the strong foundation for their research year. In addition to providing specialized training on research, students have the opportunity to meet academic research faculty through career panel discussions, and are introduced to resiliency tools to ensure a successful academic career.

This is a sample of a first year schedule in the five year ARC-MD research pathway timeline.
