This Non-ACGME-accredited, one-year fellowship prepares individuals to become pediatric advanced interventional cardiologist.

The Pediatric Heart Center at UC Davis Children’s Hospital is inland Northern California’s full-service cardiac care facility for infants, children, and teens. Our multidisciplinary team includes pediatric cardiothoracic surgeons, pediatric and fetal cardiologists, nurses, anesthesiologists, and respiratory therapists providing world-class care to families who come to us for our expertise in diagnosing and treating heart conditions.
Our Pediatric Heart Center faculty delivers expert care to infants, and children with congenital heart disease, and help train the next generation of pediatric cardiologists specializing in advanced interventional cardiology medicine. Our fellows will have access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment while working alongside a world-renowned faculty.

The primary goals/objective of this advanced hybrid interventional fellowship is to train a graduate of a standard three-year pediatric cardiology fellowship who wish to become an expert in cardiac catheterizations in congenital heart disease and pursue an academic career post-training. In addition, this unique fellowship will have a hybrid (surgical and invasive echocardiography) component in the training.
